What do I eat to help with bloating? I hear you ask.
I’ve had my fair share of uncomfortable tummy times (since childhood) to have to figure out what to do and FAST. Sometimes you have places to be and dresses to fit into right?
For me, I use YOGA a lot to help with my tummy troubles. I’ve also figured out what foods I am intolerant to and do my best to avoid them (100% in the first 3 months + specific gut healing supplements, then gradually add offending foods back in over the following months to figure out my tolerance level), – but that is a post for another day.
I wanted to give you something today that I believe could help you with your bloating FAST!
Instant De-Bloating “Piña Colada”
Ingredients (use organic where possible):
1 cup coconut water (no added sugar)
1 1/2 cups pineapple (fresh or frozen), diced
2cm knob ginger root
1/2 cup ice or 1/2 frozen banana, (cut and halved before you put it in the freezer).
Handful of spinach or silverbeet
1 tsp. turmeric
Pinch of cayenne pepper—or more if you like it spicy.
METHOD: Put all ingredients in a blender til smooth.
